Welcome to Helensburgh’s community-owned Hub – a place for anyone and everyone because…… It’s Your Space!

  • We run our own activities including a Menopause Café, coffee mornings and family events. More
  • We work with others to run their groups and services including toddler groups, crafting and addiction support.
  • We provide a base for community organisations delivering vital services: Argyll and Bute Rape Crisis, Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank, Argyll and Bute Citizens’ Advice and Key Housing. More

Our Vision:

Helensburgh is a strong, compassionate and inclusive community

Our Mission:

Helensburgh Community Hub will be a welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
We will provide opportunities for people to socialise, volunteer and participate in activities that promote the health and wellbeing of the local community.

We will ensure the provision of a range of inclusive activities that can be accessed by those who might otherwise be excluded due to health, capacity or financial constraint.
We will seek to enhance self esteem and reduce social isolation, improve cohesion and quality of opportunity for all citizens.

Our Values:

  • Inclusive and accessible
  • Compassionate
  • Empowering
  • Innovative
  • Responsive and reflective

The Book Nook

A special and unique part of the Hub is our cosy Book Nook, which is stocked entirely from donations and run by our fabulous team of volunteers (and a cuppa is always available!).

We sell the books at very accessible prices (none are more than £1) and we reinvest the income into the development of the Hub, including our partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library which inspires children to enjoy reading. More
